  • Those with anti-roll bars

I picked up a single Wolfe anti-roll bar and am going to install it when I start building the hot side of my turbo setup. My car 60'd pretty good before with pretty consistent 1.5's off leaving off the footbrake at around 3800 rpm, but rolled over pretty hard as you can see here:

I went ahead and pulled the trigger after a few folks came up to me at the cruise letting me know just how bad it looked. I figure with the added power from the turbo it has now become a safety issue in addition to a consistency/performance part.

With that said, is it reasonable to expect any reduction in 60' times or will this just aid with consistency and let me put more power down to the track (thank God for the spool because I have a feeling based on the picture above I'd have been spinning that unloaded tire without it).

Also, and I know I've asked this before, how many of you have gotten away with these on the street? I don't daily drive and I suspect I'll probably just leave a link off when running around, but if I decide to go play I might want it on. I know Wolfe makes his stuff pretty strong but I don't want to be unrealistic.

    Thanks.

I always just left the one side off. Daily drove it for 3-4 years that way

I would not leave it hooked up all the way and drive it on the street, it could tear shit up. At least un-do one of the link and it should be fine.

If you're running upr junk, then leave one side off. Wolfe stuff is stronger and can be driven on the street, which I do a lot of the time, but it does drive nicer with one side off, as far as turning into driveways or unlevel surface and stuff.

Wish I had the power to have to worry about the roll bar issue.

            Damn.

did you ever run with it vs. without? i have heard they are awesome at the track but having never ran one i'm not sure what to expect. i am using factory v8 springs and strange adjustables in the rear (with double adjustable uppers and single adjustable lowers) and coil overs (belive they are 140lbs 12in springs) w/lakewood 90/10's in the front (w/tubular control arms).

Thats the exact same setup as me except I have 150lb 14 in coilovers.

Just plants the tires evenly and lifts the front end equally on both sides. If it pulls one way or the other on launch, you can correct that by adjusting the links.

Any car that leaves hard needs one. Your 60 will drop and it will help from twisting your car all up.

I'll be putting one on my car, all 200rwhp of it.

It doesnt twist much, but it does a little.

I want to run tail pipes still, I've heard Max. Motorsports has one you can use with tailpipes.

                        Any insight?

Alot of people make them that fit tailpipes. Saw a upr arb on a fox yesterday that cleared 3" tail pipes

I like the way a coupe looks with tailpipes. Plus dumps drone BAD and make the interior smell like exhaust. I've had 2 foxes with dumps, never again.
