I can't remember what broke on it, it's been nearly a decade since I pulled it out. If I had to guess, I'd say a busted shift fork? That's what broke in my first one.
The trans I've got, I'm thinking now, is actually a GT trans, but with the Cobra tailshaft. Not the other way around as I first posted. The only differences between the two are the rear crossmember mount on the Cobra sits back a couple inches from where it is on the GT.
As far as price, if you want to drive to Denton to our warehouse to pick it up, you can have the damn thing for free. I'll never have any use for it. Like I said, it's just been sitting here in our warehouse for almost 10 years.
