I bought the kit from DM.

Doesn't someone make a hydrolic TOB that would work? I don't know what a kit would cost, but that would be pretty simple, yeah? Should have really light pedal too. They just put one on one of the builds on Muscle car or HP TV...maybe it was Gearz TV.

You can make a 351 based stroker allmost as cheaply as you can build a 351. Buy a 3.98 stroke crank ( about $200.) use 351w rods, 302 pistons (HP's are cheap 80 to 150$) balance it. Gt40 or or better for heads and you've got a nice stroker. Also if you can find a old toploader 4 spd it's an easy swap. Ford made a 3spd overdrive in the late 70's to mid 80's that is the same case as the toploader, you can find those cheap.

I did a little more research, and found that Hedman Hedders both long and short are compatible with clutch linkage. So I dont think i will be needing that expensive clutch cable conversion. I still want to get away from this column shifting BS tho. The search goes on!

A 9 inch rearend or 8.8 would be nice too... Mine is rusty and leaks from the back bolt in the pumpkin. And its only 2.79...

What is needed to put in a FI 302? Explorer motor with GT40 heads and intake? What would that entail?
