  • Weight Jackers or Stock Location Coil Overs

As the Title states for my Nitrous 347/c4 with 3" Flowmaster Tailpipes.
I could use some rational opinion on which way to go
MM Extreme Duty Weight Jackers (used low miles-good price) or
UPR Coil Over Kit for strange 10ways shocks(I already Have shocks)

    Need some height adjustment option.
    Currently have UPR Tubular LCA
will be installing Pro Series Double Adjustable Upper Control Arms

I'm not too familiar with weight jackers on a mustang, but most people run coil overs. Just sayin'.

Also, I personally don't like UPR stuff because they copycat other people's work.

Do yourself a favor and find some scales whichever direction you choose. Ride height does nothing in telling you where weight is....

Care to elaborate? You seem to have an opinion on everything but nothing to back it up.
As long as the arms are well designed and manufactured there is nothing wrong with weight jackers. The only problem I can see is if you get cheap ones that aren't strong enough then they would be more prone to failure since the arm is curved to accomodate the adjustable spring perch as compared to transmitting the load creating by propelling the car forward through a straight non-adjustable arm.
I run the MM ones on my '00 with the weld-in spring adapters that allow you to run coilover type springs in the stock location. This allows for use of the lighter smaller diameter springs and spring rate availability in 25 lb/in increments, all while saving money over a coilover setup and is even marginally lighter than true coilovers since there is no extra hardware like sleeve, spring perch, etc.

I really appreciate the well thought responses here
My issue is having to raise the rear just enough to fit 28" Tire
As I am unable to run coil overs due to 3" Tailpipes, and after looking
into the Stock location coil overs they take away tire well space on the inside
which creates another problem in my set up.
So Most likely will get the Weght Jackers. Thanks..

i used the mm extreme duties to lift the rear of the car to put 28" as well. they worked great for me.

How wide of a tire are you trying to fit? The springs you run with the weld-in adapter are 2.5" ID, so about 3" OD. So they do give you some extra clearance compared to the large diameter stock springs.
