For you to say my car will never run a 10.4 is stupid because neither will your truck, sir.
Will your truck ever be this fast? I am positive it won't.

And if you don't believe me go to www.rudydiesel.com and get the number and talk to aaron and ask him if that is the stock bottom end of a 6.4L. Love to see a stock bottom end of a mustang run as many passes as that diesel engine does.2012 GT500

Not only are they making huge hp and tq number on the stock bottom ends they are running 9 sec in the 1/4 on the stock bottom ends. I would love to see a gas engine do that over and over again without failures.
If you would like to dispute any of that, go ahead.

Diesel does have more stored energy then gasoline. But more energy is lost in heat. Diesel race cars are the best in the world. But trucks are trucks, and that is the point I'm making in this thread.Last edited by 91CoupeMike; 10-29-2011, 01:44 AM.

Lets see: when sn95 cobras just came out there were guys running 9s on the shitty lower end. Many many 5.0/5.8 run 9s on a stock bottom end.
And a 03/04 cobras have done mid 9s with the stock (ported) blower.
Centri/turbo termis will run mid 8s on a stock longblock.
Everything a diesel engine has done was done better and faster by a gas.Full time ninja editor.

Puegot and Audi have been doing work with deisel engines.
But I'm not sure if they're running deisel/meth mix fuel or not. My guess would be yes.
I'm not 100% sure on what all regulations deisel has in le mans though. I would imagine theyre less regulated but idk for sure. I'm fairly positive they are twin turbo v12 engines though, which is a night a day difference to the powerstroke 6.4.Last edited by 91CoupeMike; 10-29-2011, 11:39 AM.
