Also, anyone know how long a gallon of methane last (and can you still run the o'reilly washer fluid?)
I ran a meth injection system, it allows you to dial in more timing and reduce detonation, but that's about it. Fuel is Fuel. Screw those expensive ass pumps, you can build it for less than 100 bucks. Northern tool sells a pool pump that is the same thing as that snow system uses.

you planning to run meth, water, or alcohol/water? seems like the northern tool pump is only good for the later two options.

Just out of curiosity, why do you say that?

It has Viton seals, the same ones that are used in a alchohol carburetor - should be fine. (assuming it has metal internal components).

There's been a ton of people using it like this already, I don't recall any negative feedback.

You run window washer fluid. Look for the blue washer fluid rated to -20F. It is a 40/60 mix of meth and water. It works perfectly fine. I do not know of anyone using a meth injection system that runs straight methanol. I ran it for over a year with meth/water, the pump was fine, and I sold it to a board member who still uses it.

did you use the water solenoid or a check valve. @ $40 thats a pretty big part of the cost if a simple 2 dollar check valve works fine.

                    thanks!

just going off what it shows on this page:

only shows the last ones as meth compatible.

I honestly do not remember what I used, it has been years. I had the pump on a relay/switch to control the injection. Knowing me I probably used a check valve on the reservoir side. I would do some research first.
