Actually, a LOT of port guys use those specifically with a bar of soap, engine oil, WD40 etc.. They prefer the less agressive cutting action of those compared to the overly agressive non-ferrous cutters. You have to keep them dipped in something to keep the aluminum from sticking. In fact, in some cases (like my intake manifold) they don't even hit them with a cartridge roll after they're done. They work good like that in the right person's hands.
