  • T56 swap into a 93 Cobra

Which T56 would you guys use? Who sells a "kit" to do the swap if one is even out there? Car is a basic bolt ons fox that doesn't make big power but the 6speed in it sounds pretty appealing.

From what I've read the "Magnum" is the closest thing to a Viper trans. Its the newest design of a T-56

I've got access to a couple of brand new Ford 2.97 "012" model T56's. These are perfect for cars making less than 500 hp. They use a 10 spline input shaft and 31 spline output shafts with a mechanical speedo and a cast aluminum bellhousing. All you need to install it is an AJE crossmember and a 31 spline yoke. Hit me up if you are interested in one.

That Magnum T56 from D&D is the best thing going for swaps. I'm putting one in my Chevelle.

The Magnum doesn't come with a bellhousing and is longer. The 012 unit comes with a bellhousing for a 302 and uses the 9 o'clock fork position. It's shorter and will bolt in easier. It's also about $150 cheaper.
