          When I cruise in mine I am turning 3300 RPM to go 60 MPH. 4.30 gear with 26" tire.


          I want a built AOD so bad.

                    W/ a powerglide it would be closer to taking off in second and hitting third.

                    1.76 first in a PG versus 2.46 in a C4. Maybe I misunderstand what you mean.

                      gear the car to run 1st and 2nd only. don't shift into 3rd. 3rd is your cruising gear

                      you have to be spot on with the converter, but I know somebody who has done it. it was in a really light turbo car though
