  • Cruising @ 3000rpm's on 4.10's

Drove my 347 c4 on the Highway for the first time yesterday,
with 4.10's I'm cruising at 3k on 275/60's=28" tall tire.
Anyone here with similar set up?
    Should I go to 3.55's?

Yea , you're cruising at about 50-53 mph. Sucks if
You try to go anywhere on the highways and damn near get run over. And since all the tracks are 40-70 miles from my house , I went to 355's, much better. 3300 on 28,s = 70mph
          Vortex rear stand $75
          8.8 410s. $50

can you run the C4 like a glide in the 1/8?

Did you take advice from someone here on the board? Seems like 4.10's were always the "way to go"...and that "don't fear the gear" bullshit. It's a little different in the real world of driving on the street.

I drive 4.30s daily on the street.

Get an AOD and rebuild it yourself. Then it'll be cheap.

That "OD" part makes a big difference. ;-)

OP : I went from 430s to 355s and it ran the exact same et and 60ft down to the hundredth. Of course my motor probably makes a little more torque than yours , but FYI.
