  • Stock 03 Cobra, need some input???

As the tittle says, i have an 03 Cobra stock as my DD, I would like to start modding with the basics.I think pulley/tune for now.

What size/brand of pulley do you recommend?

How about the tune? I have never tuned or bought tuners or chips so I'm blind here.

I want my car to be faster but not to the extreme as i said is my DD.

    Any input would be appreciated!!!

Riechard Racing pulley. Will not slip. A custom dyno tune is about the same price as a new SCT tuner, and its worth every penny.

Don't forget a good cat-back system if you don't already have one.

How many miles on it now?
Pulleys, heat exchanger. Then start moving the air more efficiently with a ported blower or whipple, and intake. Then move on to exhaust, kooks Lt headers are a good start, and a decent cat-back system. Get a solid tune, good tires, and have fun.

If you're high on the clock, and deep in the pockets, I would build one on a stand. Then add turbo.

intake and exhaust will net you more power than the pulley

                        Gearheads has my vote.

HPP, Truestreet, and others are in the DFW area.

You should definitely get rid of the irs and take my solid axle!! Is it just me or does the cobra exhaust w/irs look totally awesome from the rear? A quick web search should get you plenty of info with documented proof of performance gains.

Get an oil catch can from JLT or somebody to get that damn oil from getting sucked up from the blower. I just put vents on both cam covers and called it good
