    I have an 07 Mustang GT
    5 speed
    JLT cai
    SCT SF3 tunner (with 93 octane race tune)
    UPR o/x pipe
    stupid American Thunder cat-back
    stock 3:55 gears

    my question is this.... ive read several different opinions on Throttle bodies... I have a BBK 62mm Twin throttle body sitting in the garage.... does the TB making good power over stock with tune??

      I was told the stock tb can handle little over 500hp so there is no point in a bigger tb until you have more than that....

            True you probably won't pick up any extra hp but another throttle body might get the fire burning a little quicker. Crank it up (your car) and give the throttle one quick hit. Are you happy with how quickly it revs? Turn the bwaaaa to a ra!

                An aftermarket TB will not give you better throttle response or give you any more hp.

                If you want to go faster, get a custom tune and higher gears. A TB will do shit.

                  i have the SCT as stated above and the guys over at american muscle have already sent me a custom tune with the TB .... i Just have not put it on...

                        is the car stock? then it wont make much difference. Remember you engine is an air pump, more in and more out more efficient. My last pushrod setup picked up half a sec. in the eighth with a bigger tb. But it will only flow as good as your intake will allow.

                          Go with 410 gears. Then longtubes. Those throttlebody arent worth it.

                          My old 06 GT had,
                          Jlt cold air
                          headers
                          offroad
                          flowmaster axle back
                          bbk throttlebody--was on there when i bought it
                          410 gears

                          Car ran hard! I've installed those throttlebody and seen no gains.

                              cmdp's, udp's, and lt headers should be next. TB's are paper weights at this point in your build. I wouldn't look into a new tb or intake manifold until after 500rwhp.
