    spray it with a 100 shot for a few hundred bucks and get a fuel setup. when it blows up go ahead and do your upgrades.

      N/A - I will agree with you. But, building a turbo / blower 2v for 600+rwhp is not all that hard or expensive.

        Chris. First you need to figure out what you want. What is ur main goal track times or just breaking into the 300 hp on the dyno?

              if the owner keeps up with the timing parts and doesnt tune it for meltdown they can last awhile. my shortblock has 107K miles on it 60K with a s/c

                I have a set of stage 3 power heads 2v flow almost as much as a 4v head high rev springs fresh from the machine shop $750

                I have a few sets of cams also


                or I have a 302 stroker MMR motor w/those heads $3,500

                did 590rwhp w/ a procharger I have the procharger for $2,500 also

                      Shorties won't hurt you on an N/A car.
                      First thing you need is a plan. Either you're going to keep it safe and be limited by the bottom end or you can make is strong, THEN make it fast OR you can make it fast, break it and then back track.

                      I fried a motor with 260/301, replaced. Tried nitrous, sold it. Filling a bottle and turning on a kit all the time, irritates me. Then I broke ring lands with a Procharger making 390/410...then I sold all the bolt ons that I wouldn't be using and built a 4v/Turbo with 500/523. Basically, I took the longest short cut to a fast car, EVER!

                      MY plan should have been save money for a bottom end and a fuel system first, then get a Turbo or a Blower. Don't get me wrong...the ride was kinda fun and I learned what I like and don't like, but it certainly wasn't the most cost effective plan! Best thing is ride with a guy who has juice, one who has a centri blower, one how has a twin screw and one with a turbo and see what you like.
