sold my truck to my dad and while i am looking for another vehicle i have been driving his (my former) 95' cobra. i had installed a new firewall adjuster, triple hook quadrant, and adjustable cable. well, it seemed like when i got it from him the clutch pedal was really loose (lots of play). so i had to adjust the firewall adjuster almost all the way out to get it to tighten up. so now i have been driving it for a week and the damn thing just snapped. i need to get one locally asap anyone have one or know if any of the parts retailers carry them? TIA.

Any ford dealer should have one in stock. Buy one for a 99-04 gt they are the cheapest and are a little longer overall which will allow for more clearance around accessories. -

Factory Ford cables are the best. Adjustable ones are junk. Try Dallas Mustang. I always get this clutch cable and clutch fork kit because it's cheaper than just the cable:
It says for '86-'93 but you might compare the length and see how it compares to this cable for '96-'04:
