question now is if there is any way to aquire one for less then 640.

also, is the .96 what all the 6 liter guys are running vs. the 1.0ar exhaust housing?
Try the Magnum 76. You can get one local from Vyron. .96 is what Chris and all of the other guys have run.

Yes all are mpt76 q trim.
You only need a 60lb injector. Buy a NEW set of the SD 60's. You will have to upgrade to a two bar sd OS and use the 12580698 GM two bar map.
Have you given much thought to changing the cam?

was planning to return to the stock lq9 cam and leave the good springs and hardware on the 317's

since i am already running the ls7 injectors can i not just have FIC convert them to 60, 80, or 93lb for like $200?

              $200 and he'll make the ls3/ls7's 72lbs @ 3bar

Fueling & Injection - Fuel injector resizing? - I thought i read somewhere that FIC can resize your injectors, I have stock LS3/LS7 injectors, i'm thinking i might need slightly larger injectors, how much does re-jeting re-sizing what ever its call cost through FIC?

Tuning a modified injector is no different than any other, the only thing changed is the discharge plate, the injector orfice nor valve is touched. All Bosch LS style injectors are the same basic injector, the discharge plate and color is the only difference. So, we copy those plates and turn yours into the size required.

why not do the 3 bar sd? does it cost more credits then the 2?

The reason I suggested the SD60's is the actual injector data is out there which makes tuning it very nice.
The stock lq9 cam is the same as a stock ls1 cam. You should try the ls6-ls2 cam insted. Its worth 20rwhp over the lq9 cam and can be found for $50-$75.Or another option is the LS9 cam. You can buy it new for $120.

good to know, are any of these cams on a smaller base circle? i went with 7.425" tsp pushrods that i assume won't work with stock cams (i believe stock is 7.375").

i have a buddy who i think has a ls6 cam that he'd sell me cheap. if not do you have a part number for the ls9 (is it worth any extra hp?)

also, how much harder is tuning going to be vs. what i have currently? i assume it is the same game, logging afr error and modifying the ve table accordingly (obviously with a more aggress PE rate and less timing)?

Because you have no reason to run a 3 bar sd. This goes back to wanting the s400 because its bigger. No reason to buy something you are not going to use.

damn you and bringing sound logic into my thread guess i figured the only difference was additional cells in the VE table and if it cost the same amount of credits why not. i was just wondering if the resolution on the 3 bar is less or something. point taken regardless.

got a b headed black 97 cobra sitting the garage that hasn't moved in about a month if ANYTHING happened to that motor you probably already have a real good idea what would be replacing it!

All of the ls based motors use the same length pr (7.325) with the exception of the ls7.
The ls9 is part number 12605527. I would say the ls9 is worth 15-20 hp more.

Two Bar sd is much like what you have done in the past. When it comes time to tune it shoot me an email and ill help you with that.
