I'd sell the 6.0 and buy a cheap 4.8 or 5.3. People are making sick numbers on those things stock and they hold up. If something does happen to it theyre cheap and plentiful. LQ9 should bring some decent money to go towards the build.

Really leaning towards the B/W S400-75 or 76mm w/1.32ar. Price just can't be beat for a quality unit. Anyone seen one of these s400's on a 6 liter?

ouch, no can do haha... i need that to go back on the GTO... I seriously thought about putting the 4.8 in the GTO with the turbo and then putting the N/A 6L in the Galaxie... I'm not going to, but i did consider it

                    how'd it do on a 6 liter?

if i do go with the s400 i'll have to deal with the 5inch discharge on the t6 housing.

thinking about just dumping it out the fascia (on the passenger side).

not exactly inline with the "street car" look, but a hell of a lot cheaper and easier then trying to run 5in exhaust around the motor.

i'm not sure the street legalities of dumping it out like that... or if you plan to have it street legal even. I did a 4" DP with a 4" cut out then split into 2 3" pipes through 3" magnaflows and out the tail pipes... only cuts about 8 HP i think it was and a few tq... not enough for me to worry about really... and its quite when I want it to be and louder when I open the DP.

streetable is a priority, street legal, err, not so much.

they will support about 230whp each and you will have no high rpm power. nothing like twin turbocharging your car and going slower.

precision makes the best street turbo's for a budget based build

Turbo. Engine go boom, sell turbo kit, rebuild as N/A with monster parts.

The S400 is WAY overkill for what you are trying to do. Stick with the 70 or 76mm Masterpower turbo. It will make 575-600 rwhp at 10lbs on pump gas with ease. Pulling the 6.0 for a much smaller 5.3 or 4.8 is a terrible idea. The 6.0 will make 60-70 more rwhp and torque at the same boost level and be just as safe.
