57 trim with a .48 is WAY to small even for twins. on your motor even 4 of them would stil be small-ish

they will support about 230whp each and you will have no high rpm power. nothing like twin turbocharging your car and going slower.

precision makes the best street turbo's for a budget based build

I should listen to you, the guy telling the OP to install .48 housings on a 3.1L bank of cylinders.

I don't know jack about turbos, but I know a burn when I see one.

                I lol'd. A .48 is too small even on a little 2.4.

They might not be what the guy needs.....but you are full of shit. They are rated at 500fw each. He just has a stock 6.0.... They made 800rw on my 03 Cobra and they weren't maxxed out yet. He probably makes 350-400rw so if he could get a solid 10-12lbs of boost he would easily meet his goals....

None intercooled 5-6lbs of boost and it would run fine and would spool real quick

Yeah, but it'd be out of steam pretty quick, too.

I bet with a set of em you could disable the stock block.

well, i dont doubt the car has a little left in it, but considering that it is a stock lq9 (heads were put on by the general) with a cam, ls6 intake (stock t/b), and long tubes and goes 7.00 @ 98mph (with a converter that at the very least is eating up mph, possibly hurting et as well), driving to/from track w/ac and heat, i think it is doing alright.

i log every run and tweak the tune as needed. car is running with 28* of advance, no knock retard, and pretty much rock solid 12.6-12.8afr. last weekend both my runs were within a hundredth of a second, both 1.5 60's, and same mph.

i am not touching it before the cruise and would really like to see a 6.9x out of it at the end of the month. i am leaving for vacation on saturday so the next time the coupe will be out will be for the cruise.

after that i think i am going to pull it apart and start putting the kit together.

Get the convertor sorted out, then heads and cam. Sixes on motor should be breeze

Judging by people's posts, a lot of people lack very basic turbocharger science. Not that I am a fan of them but plug his info into any turbocharger mapping calculator and see why it wont work well.

Please understand this BASIC info before recommending that people spend thousands on shit that wont work worth a fuck. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob...o_tech103.html
