Degreeing cams is not "lining up the chains and calling it good."
That is how they come from the factory. One chain link off and you will either have crazy retarded timing or end up bending the valves.
To get the timing right you gotta file the cam gears, install, figure out where your centerline is, and repeat.Full time ninja editor.
