New chains are marked, I've worked on a 2v and I saw the dimples on the cam gears. Now, on a DOHC there is a chain that Connects the two in time. I've never timed those, but I can see how they can be a PITA.

    What do I not know?

You need to ease up, this place is full of foul information.

Yeah I don't know how to work on my car, Ive had 3 foxes in my time and none were stock. I'm 20 years old and I can work on my car in a swiftness. You need to ease the fuck up before you open that bug catcher..

Dohc motors aren't keyed on the cams they have to be torqued in place. As said buy the tools or pay someone to do it.

As far as timing the cams that is something you don't want to guess.

I don't think they'd ask you for help.

Well, if you can't learn from literature.. The education system in this WORLD is fucked. Being literate serves no purpose.

You learn the theory from the books, and learn the skill from expeiriance.

Next time I enroll in a class, I'm not going to buy a book because reading is pointless, there is nothing to be learned from them.

Have had 2 years of ASE Classes. I was an honor student in the classroom and the shop.

My teachers were technicians with 30+ years in the field and the other was a BMW motorsports tech for 12 years.

Not saying I'm the smartest but I'm not shade tree guesser, I understand how the shit works, and I know how to diagnose the shit.

                          Lol, k smartass.

I'm no genius but I'm not dumbass.

I went to school for it, and decided that working on cars isn't what I like to do. I like working on my car, other mustangs and to help friends out. I don't want it to be my source of income. Cant make my hobby my career.

I'll say this, I love automatic transmissions. That was my favorite class.
