Putting an aftermarket cam in a stock 5.0 or cams in a stock 4.6 is a total waste of fucking money. Everyone thinks that since the LS motors respond so well to cam swaps that every other motor will.

There is power to be had with cam swap on the 302.

Now, is the stock cam a bad cam? Fuck no. It's a torque monster, 10 second 1/4 passes can be had with a stock cam.

The rpm is band is idle-5000 so top end power is a big NO, but overall it's decent.

Letter cams are overated. AMS has same damn good grinds tho.

Dude, they are just doggin ur shitter, put a cam only cummins in that bitch, its easy. Throw the stock motor in the back for extra power. I saw leno used a tank engine in a rod and jesse james built a diesel rod too, you can get it to fit, no prob.
