  • Brake booster vacuum leak??

I have a 92 lx I picked up a month or so ago. The brake pedal is a little hard to push, which I'm assuming is a result of the noise I hear under the dash. It sounds like a vacuum leak in the brake booster area, but I don't know of an easy way to check and find where its coming from. I looked and felt around the hose where it connects to the top of the brake booster, but didn't see/hear any leak there.

Any ideas on where it may be leaking and is there an easy way to fix without pulling and replacing the entire booster?

I've shipped small items like pushrods and it cost like $20 to ship. Shipping prices are ridiculous for individuals.
