Trying to talk mama into ditching her 09 for a 4dr 12 with some get up and go...not having good results so far lol..

Just do a Hemi swap. I would love to have the power, response, and fuel mileage of the 5.7l hemi in her jeep. My truck with the Hemi can get 22-24 mpg on the highway and averages 18 for me. Imagine what it would do in a jeep.

I have always wanted to do this, but I have yet to have come across a reasonably priced drivetrain, wiring harness, and ECM.

My other dream engine swap is a 4bt.

Those look clear, but I'm betting a quick search would turn 'em up.

Or just wait for the 2012's with the Pentastar V6...

It has been discussed. Owning a 2010 means it would be cheaper for me to just make more power with our 3.8 versus trading it in for a 2012. However, I do like those transmission options.

I guess I am blind because I still don't see the smoked ones for sale. I saw the clear and on this page you can see the smoked on the picture next to " Off Camber Fabrication light bars and brackets".

I see the smoked ones there. The jeep from ebay looks more like clear, though.

I wonder if clear is the only option and someone "smoked" it with paint. Either that, or it's a severely burned bulb in that pic.

I get my offroad fix here:

thick skin is required (worse than on here lol)....i lurk more than post, but there is a TON of offroad info there, just need to search for it...careful that if you do post, put em in the right forum or suit up
