That's a 2012. I wouldn't even attempt to work a deal on that. Instead of being a shithead, find something comparable on their used lot and I might feel nice enough to make a phone call.

Take for instance http://www.peterschryslerjeep.net/ce...e3198052c2.htm is a demo that they yanked from a salesman that they fired in May. It's been driven by their Jeep manager, and it hasn't been abused.

I knew that the unlimited was 4 door that but I was not sure if you had the unlimited or not. I am new to jeeps... I don't really know anything about them.

I was just showing a comparible brand new one on the lot. Not trying to be a shithead.

Yes I saw that one but 29,000 is too high for us and I doubt we could get them down to 23,000. I did not even really want to spend 23,000 but she really wants it. I did a google search for what RHD means on jeep and it told me right hand drive.. but the steering wheel is on the left. Does it have another meaning that I am missing?

I've got a call out for you. He has one that he traded for today. It's a 2010 Cosmos blue with black Rockstars, lift, and 8K miles. I'll PM you when he gets back to me on the money.

Well when we went to get it, it was much nicer in person than in the pictures. There were no signs of mud underneath the vehicle and only visible rust was dirveshaft which is common on most vehicles as they don't coat them a lot of times. The exhaust and everything else looked good. The wheels look much nicer in person and grew on my really quick as well. The is one tiny scratch on the hood but other than that the paint and body are also flawless.

The ad just had crappy pictures because the tires are also much newer and had more tread than I thought they would. The interior is spotless. It has a small lift but not sure which kind yet. It does have Bilstein shocks. We are averaging 16mpg out of after a weekend of driving.

No leaks at the trans cooler and the engine bay was also spotless. The original owner left his information in the glove box. Turns out to be a 52 year old man who had a very long commute to work. I will try to get a hold of him to ask a few questions about the jeep and see if he has the 2nd key.

Jen, thanks for all the help and advice you gave us! La Fogata was pretty good!

I'm glad it all worked out in your favor. Enjoy the Jeep, and don't forget to take the door frames off when y'all take the top and doors off. :wink1:

After crawling under it and looking closely at suspension parts I think it has the MOPAR 2" lift. Every part that is in the kit matches what is under the vehicle and since it was installed by the Jeep dealer before it was first sold it makes sense. Also, the springs have "MOPAR" stamped on them. There are 2 kits with Bilstein shocks. Searching MOPAR 780178 (front spring part#) took me straight to the Mopar 2" installation instructions. This is $1600 kit and it is nice to know it got good lift kit and not a cheap on off of ebay.

Most moderate JK lifts use coil spring spacers with the factory coil springs. With this method you get lift, but suspension extension travel (controlled by shock length) must be limited or the coil springs and spacers will unseat.

I hear the 2011's has come out with a bigger engine that is much needed by the way.

She is used to a lowered Mustang which was a bumpy ride in itself. The 2012 got a smaller engine (3.6 instead of 3.8) but it was 285 horsepower instead of 202.

We both love this jeep. They are fun to drive. It really is not rough at all. Compared to 07 Dodge 1500 4x4 (completely stock down to the tires) the jeep actually rides smoother. If it were not for the gas mileage being worse in the jeep... the jeep would be better for long drives.

Did the computer get flashed to adjust for the larger tires? Supposed to help with shift points, correct the speedo, etc. Stock gears in the axles? My wifes 09 2dr is a turd with the auto and factory size tires (31's), cant imagine what the added weight of the 4 DR and larger tires does to yours...miss her 05LJ with the 4.0l to be honest.

Great looking jeep though - welcome to the family (still have 2 in the household, wifes 09 and daughters 02)

Spent the last 6 years playing in the rocks (3 jeeps and 2 buggies)...finally had enough and decided I needed to go fast again so sold off all the rock crawling stuff and bought a 03 cobra.

I am not sure if the computer has been reflashed or not yet. I need to look up the ratios and plug it into my excel program and then go see if the speedo matchs the tach.
