By the way, I completely agree, I am well aware that new cars depreciate. I didn't buy mine as a collector's item like a lot of Cobra owners did. When the government pays, the government controls.

The "terminator" group is...special. In general, it's a very elitiest group of people involved in that scene which surprises me because it's still just a Mustang. But some talk about the cars like they are rare old Ferrari's or something. lol. I will say, they are very, very fun cars to drive. My car is an absolute blast to drive, the power/torque, the screaming ported blower and unlimited potential. The 11/12's also fun cars, and a very nice step up in luxury and quality. Not quite as much fun to drive since they don't have the seat of the pants powerband the "terminators" do, but also have great potential if one doesn't mind putting more money into an already expensive car. But that's the hobby for you, it's a money sink, but we do it because it makes us happy, not to make money.

Remember I was "terminator" before "terminator" was cool, I had my KB and every bolt on known to the 4v world son. I was running high 11's at 122 on 10.5 MT's in 2001 when Colletti was getting his ass reamed by the Ford brass. Its a cool car and SN95's slammed with wide wheels are sic, but not special by any means. lol @ those clowns comparing a 03-04 Cobra to a hand built Ferrari.

Not taking it as an insult, you know that WE here at DFWMustangs have to argue about every single thing no matter how significant or insignificant it may be, lol!Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

In this day and age, 380rw isn't alot of power anymore but it's good power for a factory car.

Why limit yourself to some car that someone has turned out? I'd be looking at 08 GT500 cars long before an 03/04 Cobra.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Out of my two local dealers only one has had two 5.0's on the lot.
The other one has special ordered two of them, but does have a gt500 on the showroom floor. He has sold more gt500 than 5.0.
Locally, I know one person with a 5.0, but there are 2 guys with 11 model gt500's.
If I were spending over $30k on a 12gt I would have a hard time not buying a used gt500 at the same price.

I don't check gt500 prices but I'm coming up on two years of ownership and I bet I can sell it for within 1k of what I paid. Which, I might add, is less than the guy with a 11 5.0 I know paid.
