Anyone work on diesels near Garland?

No, I mean Throttle Position Sensor, that happened on my buddies '99 7.3L. The Cam Postion Sensor is a recal on those trucks though, my brother had his done before it took a crap.

the tps usually starts intermittently working, the cmp usually stops running (hence the recall when vehicles were stalling in traffic)

Turbo taking a shit or a cooling system problem causing it to go into default power ratings. Just going off the info the op gave us.

Is the engine running smooth and just has no power? Or is it running rough with no power?

It would be ny guess from my own exp. That you might have an air leak in fuel system.

Is it hard to start?
