  • More vortech ?'s

Finally have the $$ to start making stuff happen.

    Here is my current plan

    Vortech v-2 sq (done)
    Walbro gss342
    T-Rex inline (done)
    90mm cobra Maf (done)
    Cobra 39#
    ev1 ev6 adapters
    Tune by primetuning.

I'm very very close to having everything needed to start the install!

I bought an fmu for 24# inj to use as a bandaid for a while. What fuel pump will I have to use? Do I need a boostapump or similar or will a single 255 do the trick?
Don't use an FMU those will fry your engine. They are a bandaid approach.

walbro pump, change the fuel pressure regulator to your favorite aftermarket piece that will refrence to boost.

                  42lbs injectors
                  walbro 255 pump
                  kennebell boosta pump

Get a sct chip or programer and get it tuned

Dont use a fmu those are so dated.

As everyone has said, stay away from a FMU, they are not reliable. 42-60lb injectors, walbro 255 intank and a good inline, I used the t-rex and get a good tune

you can use the fmu, it will work. But I think they are dangerous. they will force the injectors to spray more fuel by jacking up the rail pressure to over 100psi..IMHO this is not the way to do it

No. I forget why (either the hat doesn't fit or they won't plug in directly), but they won't work on our cars. Apparently they make an adapter kit now: http://www.buyfordracing.com/product...-USCAR%29.html - no clue if it works though.

Don't cheat / cheap the fuel system, is the lifeline for the motor. If you add boost and something happens where it runs lean it detonates and you fry pistons.
