I just picked up my fresh C6 and just installed it. The torque converted is fully seated into the pump and the bell housing bolted to the engine. Jay from Boarder Preformance was said to check the gap between the torque converted pad and flexplate. This is done before tightening the bolts right?He was saying 1/8". Because once I tighten the bolts the converter is going to suck into the flexplate. This measurement is done to make sure after tightening the bolts the converter is still seated in the pump?
