Well we finished everything with the front yesterday and the "death wobble" is a lot better than it was... but now that the front is taken care of, I can tell the rear end vibrating pretty severely on the driver's side. When turning the wheels by hand, you can hear something in there making noise (possibly bearings). It could be that the rear was the problem all along, but with as bad as the front was you could really feel that vibration through the steering wheel. There is a ton of backlash in the rear end so I know it needs to be rebuilt anyways. I just want to get it done and move on!
All the timing is very poor for this! Not that it matters to anyone, but I'm getting married on 11/13/11 and the money I'm spending on the truck is all coming out of our wedding fund. Without the trucks though, I have no income at all so I have to fix it.
If anyone knows how to really set up a rear end, then please give me a call or text. I'm willing to pay you something or buy beer (whatever it takes), but I'm trying to get out as cheap as possible. I'll buy all the parts to overhaul the thing, just let me know what I need.
