  • Powder Coating an eaton help

Has anyone here had this done? Did you take it all apart or were you safe leaving it assembled I'm guessing at around 350 degrees in the oven? If you had to take it apart, is there a goo write up on how to? I see it's easy to remove from the snout but I saw nothing on the needle bearings.

Usually I pre-bake stuff @ 400-450 for a few hours to out gas the part I coat. Then 400 for 20 minutes to "set the paint".

You can leave it together. It won't hurt the bearings/seals. Do not try to out gas it. Just coat and cook...it will be fine. A little pre-heating doesn't hurt though.

If there are any bearings or seals it must be removed. It will ruin the bearings and seals with the heat.

This. Once you look up the procedure for replacing the bearings in the case, you'll start picking out what kind of spray paint you want to use.

Another for paint, not a fan of PC for anything.

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

No but, painting sounds like it might be the best option.
