you cannot find cam caps and just install them, you would have to get them align bored into position. And good luck finding someone willing to sell cam caps...that junks the head they were installed on03 Dark Shadow Grey Mach1

still not seeing carnage to lock it up... Biggest thing I see is your choice of oil. Pennzoil or Quaker State?
The one piston that has the clean spot on the lip could indicate a rod bearing let loose and was impacting the head....but would not have locked it up. Lots of debris/impacts showing on the top of the pistons but nothing glaring yet. couple ring lands missing but those would have to get lodged somewhere to really shut it down.
Moar pics with actual carnage please!

Motor looks very dirty and oil looks old and worn out. When I pulled my stock motor apart to build a forged shortblock after spraying a 150 shot of n2o for a year, you could see the numbers still stamped on the pistons they were so clean and the cams and heads looked brand new. I changed the oil like ever 2k miles though for Ford Motorcraft 5w2003 Dark Shadow Grey Mach1

Haven't seen the piston sides or rings yet but the cylinder walls still look great so I don't think it's necessarily the tune causing all the black stuff on the pistons, but something related to PCV or oil passing the rings. Previous owner used shit oil. Not much you can do about that.
Might the car have had long tubes before you got it? That can sometimes generate enough vacuum to cause serious sucking of oil into the intake. The funny thing about synthetic oil is that is doesn't smoke like dino oil when it burns off....well, it does, just not nearly as visible.
My guess is the car was raped on Nitrous for a long time before you got it and the ring lands were damaged back then. Guy probably sold the car after he hurt it and you inherited his abused Mach. Sucks but it happens.
I have also seen some weird shit happen with out of balance clutches, flywheels and balancers....some on MY engine. I actually broke the center out of the steel flywheel on my car and it ended up trashing the balancer and broke the curved chain guides with blown head gaskets and still ran!
Anyway, pull the rod caps, main caps and look at the bearings. I am guessing a spun #7 rod bearing...pretty common, especially if it got hot.
I would buy new 03/04 heads unless they check out OK, turn the crank, get forged rods/pistons and put the car back together and drive it. Least dollars invested unless you can find a used shortblock somewhere. I bought one from Whiteboy once for $600 and put it in a non-running cobra I flipped.
Good luck!
