My rear sway bar snapped in the straight section immediately before it bolts in in my 97 cobra. Would it make sense to find another one from a salvage yard or buy a brand new one?

Understeer is safer (think Toyota Camry or big luxury car) but even your stock sway bar is designed to produce a little understeer. I'd hate to see how it handled with a fox sway bar.
