    after working on a 4v 4.6 i came to the conclusion that it was a POS to the max. I fixed it and sold it. anything with a 10 foot or more of timing chain is a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

      A stuck/sticking timing tensioner will do the same thing.... found out the hard way...

          Do you guys know if it is repairable? Or do i have to buy the revised heads? Taking it to the machine shop Monday if possible to repair.

            Some more info on it. If it were me I would get the revised heads so it wouldn't happen again for sure, but replacing items inthe heads may be a cheaper route.

            I do agree with Aaron k on it being really loud to be the tick, all of the videos I have seen it was a whole lot quieter then the vid you posted. I wish you luck on finding the problem and keep us updated

              I doubt it's the head tick problem. It sounds more serious. However, it does sound like it's in the top end of the motor but kind hard to tell from the video. I had a similar sound coming from my Cobra a few years ago and it had dropped a valve seat.
