Those work fine. I have one close to that. I was just making sure because a lot of people do not understand the mixture involved with the ethanol fuels. Or they don't have good equipment to formulate a good accurate mixture.
Yep. It's a simple, yet very effective tool. It's just like mixing water with oil, a little shake and wait for the separation. I just want to make sure everything is the same every time I go out.
where are you buying your fuel at? I get my E85 from the Kroger in NRH and it is always consistent 85% or a little higher. Never had any that tested lower then 85%
I haven't bough any yet Dan. I just want to be prepared if needed.

Thanks guys. How much for 5 gallons? I will have a buddy stop by next week and get it for me.
I have roughly 30 gallons of E85 that has been sitting since June `12. Is there anything I can do to save this stuff? I won't even be using it until possibly April but more than likely October.

Been buying all my E85 at NRH Kroger also.
Give it to someone with a flexfuel vehicle. Get some fresh fuel later on.
A brand new Racetrac was built over the winter in Allen right off 75 & Exchange. It's a nice big station with E85 on every pump. The location fills a rather large E85 equipped station void and it's near me so I was happy.
I ran 93 all winter but have filled up there twice to get the fuel trims all set. I decided to load up yesterday. When I got home, I tested a batch. Unfortunately it is the lowest ethanol content I've seen in yet @ 75% ethanol. I'm hoping this is racetrac's winter blend.
Just an FYI for yall running E85. Hopefully you aren't tuned so aggressive that this will cause any issues.
The 10% decrease in ethanol will offer a bit less knock resistance but the added gasoline will run a bit richer. In my situation it is enough to balance out and the fuel trims take care of everything else. Still I'm going to pull a degree of timing until the content goes up.
