Yep. It's a simple, yet very effective tool. It's just like mixing water with oil, a little shake and wait for the separation. I just want to make sure everything is the same every time I go out.

I haven't bough any yet Dan. I just want to be prepared if needed.

i use the two krogers nearest to me (plano and north dallas). i also use that same quickfuel test kit and typically see E89-91.

i wind up adding a bit of 93 cause cold start on my evo < 50*F gets a bit annoying.

The ones that have tested, are the tests recent? I have found information saying during winter we get E70 and saying we don't.

mid-december was my last test which was the last time i bought e85.

when i fill e85, i fill the tank along with four 5 gallon race jugs. i test from one the jugs each time so i know what % i'm working with.

i've been on 93 for past month but will be switching back after this tank so i will test again.

I have roughly 30 gallons of E85 that has been sitting since June `12. Is there anything I can do to save this stuff? I won't even be using it until possibly April but more than likely October.

Been buying all my E85 at NRH Kroger also.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Give it to someone with a flexfuel vehicle. Get some fresh fuel later on.

                        bump.

just FYI, I tested the E85 i bought at kroger @ frankford and midway in carrollton at 88% ethanol.

$3.29 a gallon, highest ive paid so far.

Good to know, I have been buying mine at the Valero by Texas Motor Speedway. Haven't had any problems yet.

                            thread bump.

A brand new Racetrac was built over the winter in Allen right off 75 & Exchange. It's a nice big station with E85 on every pump. The location fills a rather large E85 equipped station void and it's near me so I was happy.

I ran 93 all winter but have filled up there twice to get the fuel trims all set. I decided to load up yesterday. When I got home, I tested a batch. Unfortunately it is the lowest ethanol content I've seen in yet @ 75% ethanol. I'm hoping this is racetrac's winter blend.

Just an FYI for yall running E85. Hopefully you aren't tuned so aggressive that this will cause any issues.

The 10% decrease in ethanol will offer a bit less knock resistance but the added gasoline will run a bit richer. In my situation it is enough to balance out and the fuel trims take care of everything else. Still I'm going to pull a degree of timing until the content goes up.
