  • Fuse Question

I pulled a fuse out today and only half of it came out. The 2 legs are still in the fuse panel. When I test the fuse with the tester it shows power on both sides. Does that mean it is getting connection inside the panel?

sounds like it but it may not be making enough connection do you have a small pair of needle nose or something to get it out

I dont think I am small enough to get in there. Is this something I should disconnect the battery before trying? Thanks!

Every fused I pulled out on the drivers floor board had no legs. WTF? I tried to dig out anything in there and nothing came out. So, I put a replacement fuse in and it only went halfway in. So I was able to troubleshoot that way.

BTW this is for a 2005 g35 sedan. I did have 2 fuses not showing power. One says start signal in the 'st' category and the other one says heater/mirror in the 'ign' category.

            Any ideas? Thanks
