Sound advice. Yeah I was wondering if the headers I bought now would even fit an aftermarket set of aluminum heads. I don't know a whole lot about this shit, but I've heard of people having to buy different headers for their new heads.

Are shorty headers even worth it?

I suggest unless you are prepared to get a tune on this car I wouldn't do anything but an h/x and catback. These cars are finiky and start to have driveability issues when you start deleting egr and. Modding them.
But I have to ask why a tuned primary would have no effect on a efi motor. I understand they create a better signal on the carb or at least grasp the concept but isn't that just an effect of the main purpose of a header which is scavenging which creates a vacume or ventury effect to help draw in fresh air from the intake valve.89 dove grey lx, turbo blowthrough

I sent you a PM but your offer makes me have to ask:
Does it matter if you get the larger sized headers? I'm trying to think ahead for future upgrades. If I intend to get a decent set of aluminum heads some day, wouldn't it be wise to buy headers with 3/4" openings, rather than 5/8" openings?
