  • How much should I pay for some seats?

I have 94 GT. Its got the black leather interior, but the seats have seen better days. Rather than pay the overly high cost of getting them recovered, I'll just replace them. I've learned an interesting fact: The seats out of a 2005-2011 will fit just fine in the sn95 bodystyle. Well, you have to move the new seat over to the old seat rack, but then they just bolt right in and they fit perfectly. Talked to a couple guys that did it on another forum.

I know the "charcoal" color (or whatever fancy name they're calling it now) won't match perfectly, but It'll be close enough that likely no one will notice. And I can always dye them a little blacker if I have to. So how much should I pay? To me, the typical $500 mark seems excessive. I'm thinking more along the lines of $300. That seems a bit more accurate. So what would you pay if it were you?

No link. It was over at SN95 forums.com and they just redid their whole website to vbulletin. So they recompiled the search and now its unlikely you'll find it. Your best bet would be to go over there and ask. There was a couple guys that did it, and they had some pics. It seems to be the thing to do over there cause everyone talks about it. It seems the seat bracket from an S197 doesn't fit in an sn95, but the seat itself from an S197 does fit the seat bracket from an SN95.
