  • Chrome Plating

I need to get my 66 mustang bumpers, vent windows and other smaller pieces rechromed. Can anyone recommend a good shop that's reasonably priced? I live in Keller, but would be willing to drive a little further out for quality.

I'm almost positive that buying a complete replacement part will be less expensive than fixing and rechroming your old parts.

As for someone that does great quality work, it will be far away and it will be expensive. I do know of a couple of local shops if you want to try them out, but I can't vouch for their quality.

I've considered buying the bumpers since they are so cheap even though I've heard they aren't the best quality or fit, but I don't have any personal experience with that.
The vent window's on the other hand are around $350 ea.

Getting stuff chromed is high dollar. These after market parts are not being chromed in the United States. They are done over seas or in Mexico.

He could take his stuff to Pulido Plating in Balch Springs. They're a bunch of Mexicans AND they're in the United States !

In all seriousness, I have used Pulido Plating and they did a good job and were reasonably priced.
