Sarah took the Cobra to work yesterday (first time it has moved in about a month) and she complained about the clutch being excessively firm. I hoped in after work and sure enough it is very firm. Could be my imagination but it seems to get firmer as it gets further depressed.
If it were a stretched cable I'd assume it would have engagement issues and would probably be less firm then too firm.
If the cable is simply dry is there a way to lube it or should I just replace?
The only other things I could think of are possibly a bent clutch fork or the pressure plate has a problem?
This is a OEM Ford replacement clutch BTW.
