I have a 95 GT 302 w/ ported GT40p heads, E303 cam, cobra intake, 65mm Tbody, 70mm maf, long tubes, and the some other small mods. I bought the car it had 24 pound injectors. What fuel pressure should i be running. I am having what sounds like ignition beak up or fuel delivery issues. it happens until about 3,000rpm and then clears up.

I have been told that the stock computer will not except 24 lbs injectors even if the maf is out of a car with 24 lbs. I am really debating putting 19s back in it.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Nitrous is like a hot girl with an STD. You wanna hit it but your afraid of the consequences!

90 GT Carb 331, heads cam and a lot of bottle
95 Tbird SC forged 3.8, MPX supercharger, heads cam, and a little bottle

What maf do you have? Also your fp should be 40 lbs with the vacuum off. No more no less. so long as the maf is calibrated for the 24# then it should run ok, not great but ok.. Also what is your base timing set at?

I just pulled the numbers on the maf. It says its out of a mark8 and is calibrated for 24s. I have the timing set at about 10 degrees BTDC

Perhaps the MAF isn't working with your stock ECU. I'd put a stock MAF and the 19lbers back in it, to make sure that it isn't something unrelated, if it runs smooth with the stock stuff on it, it's likely the MAF.

Yeah thats what i was thinking about doing. I am really not sure i even need 24s. 19s will push everything im running wont it?

I've had alot of problems with the 94-95 dizzys. I've had to swap in msd units and clear up all the problems

I have never used an msd unit personally, but have read way too many stories about the pickup units taking a crap after a few runs.

To the op, the mass air you have is not calibrated for 24# injectors. In those cars the computer compensates for the larger injector. I would suggest swapping to a set of 19# and stock mass air. They will be more then enough to support your power levels. I would venture to guess you are around 250ish at the tires. Also might try pulling the timing up to around 13-14 base timing, should help it run better once you swap out the injectors.

What is the fuel pressure set at?

x2. just like a 95 cobra. it has 24lb injectors but it uses the same MAF as a gt. you could swap in a stock maf and a cobra computer if you want to keep the injectors, or just get a mail order tune.

I love my '95, but when the mods start coming, they can be really finicky.

But ya, 19's are fine for your set-up.
