  • 90 Mustang keeps dying while driving with AC on full blast

    It will idle great with the AC off. But dies when I turn it on. Just installed new 70 mm TB, Wasnt doing this with the 65mm TB

      Unhook battery let it reset.

        Actually it doesnt stall one I have been driving it for about 10 mins. But when its been sitting for awhile it wants to stall out, I think I got it though.

          same thing started happening to my '04 F150 just yesterday. while it doesn't stall out completely every time at idle, it does have an erratic idle when the a/c is on. the moment I cut it off it smooths out. so far it's only stalled out twice, once at a stop light and once in highway traffic.

          don't mean to highjack your thread SEB, just thought I could get some insight as to where to start.

            Perhaps you need to go through and set the idle properly with the new tb. Unhook the IAC, start the car, turn tb screw until it barely idles, check tps voltage and adjust to less than 1. volts if necessary, plug back in IAC, disconnect battery, reconnect battery then start it. If that doesn't fix it I'd bet you IAC is screwed.
