Yeah, I posted up a thread about this very subject a while back and from what I remember, there was some good info in it as well.

FWIW, Weatherpack makes a simple bulkhead connector - but it would most likely take two of them for what you want to do.

Thanks Brooks, I will use the search. I just never figured anyone here would have tried this route on the new board. I am already looking at 2 (33 pin) connectors as it stands.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I'm doing some digging for you. A flange mount connector will eliminate the need for the D-punch.

This style cannon plug mounts with 4 screws at the bulkhead.

I may go the flange style. I need to get into work and check out the Ladd catalog and see what my options are.

I think it's going to be hard to do if you don't want a flange mount:

Here's Amphenol's newest circular interconnect catalog (436 pages):

Look at page 111 - MS3474 Jam Nut Receptacle

It goes up to 55pin arrangements... maybe you could make something like that work.

All my wiring or atleast 95% is 18ga TXL. Will 18ga push into 20ga advertised cavities? I have been using mostly Deutsch connectors and using 18ga in 16ga cavities without issue.

The other plus to me sticking with Deutsch is I have the tools to crimp and plenty of extra pins. Oh and just the pins alone are .19 each and the sockets are .34 each. I can imagine how much the Amphenol pins/sockets are.

Check out the Deutsch DBAS series. Looks like you can get them with a jamb nut for panel installs: http://stage.deutsch.net/products/dbas

Not sure if this link will work for you... if not, shoot me your email and I'll send over the datasheet: http://www.deutsch.net/upload/assets/DBAS.pdf

I was already planning on using a jam nut and lock washer on the HDP20s

Just spoke to Duetsch customer service. What a nice lady to deal with. "well we have a loaner D-Shape Punch that we can send you to use. You have 30 days to return it and get a full credit." Shit sign me up.
