I am looking for something for OBDI and OBDII reader. Just something to help keep the daily shitters from taking a shit. Don't want some little shit causing a shitstorm that blossoms into a full blown shitnami.

    I was looking at this.

What do you guys think for the price?

Anything cheaper that will give me all vital information?

Do you have a bunch of beat down cars? Seems like a lot of money for something that you can get done at autozone for free.

Yeah you are right. Should probably use the free one. No not beat down to bad, couple of sentras 1 for me and 1 for the girl and an SCTd mustang but I guess it could still be helpful with mustang.

Should be able to find the basic readers for under 50. I then just google the codes and the make/model to figure out what is needed.

I use that one at work(what they provided) It does not support the euro stuff so well (I work on Sprinters) The domestic side is better. What are you driving and how far are you willing to go into the diag? Just pulling codes, look for something else.

I bought a 3160 recently and it works great for me. I really wish it'd do the power balance testing and show misfire counts but it reads all of the live data otherwise. Not bad for $150, and it does domestic ABS.

                  Misc late model domestics

I am not sure. I really do not know enough to say. I do not wanting to have to look shit up. That is a shitfest. What tools are handy to have on a reader? Oh, I need to be able to clear codes. That is pretty typical is it not?
