Nope and I'm not paying $600 bucks to have it trailered there with no deposit from him. I got fucked once already for $1000 bucks on this car making a deal with someone just being nice, that shit won't happen again.

hmmm. Maybe you should just hold onto it until I get my hands on the $$$

It's a fun car and cheap way to go fast. Bolt on a KB/Whipple and you've got a cheap low 10/high 9 second car for a fraction of the price of what the Terminator guys spend with those cars in the low 20's still. Sure, you can get a 100,000 mile Termy for 17k, but who the fuck wants that? This motor has 50k on it and runs like a scalded ape.

                      • I'd bet if you spent a little time getting the guage cluster swapped over and working, it'd help it sell...

I'm not putting anymore money in the car I can't get back out of it and I can't put that cost into the price because of the economy and the car being too old to finance. This car will take a cash buyer or someone with a trade I'm interested in. It's an easy enough fix for anyone who wants this type of car.

What all would be involved in the swapping clusters?

Paying someone else to do it since I don't have a clue. I don't do wiring/electrical stuff it takes time and patience I don't have. lol. I didn't put the 03 cluster I have in the car because I was going to get one of those custom cluster kits from Florida 5.0 with the mechanical gauges. Much more accurate and look really cool over the stock 03 one. I just never got around to it. The car sits 99% of the time. I'm meeting someone to show them the car tonight, it will make it the second time I've driven it in 2 months. lol.
