Since you'll never be the fastest stock motored car, why not just focus on what is going to get you the most gains for the money? When it comes to Mustangs, it's all been done before and you won't be earning much in the way of bragging rights so if your aim is to win races then do what makes your car faster.
Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension
Silver '01 Vette - D1 blown LS
Yep, I would say 13.5 would be the limit with the stock HCI. That's with 4.10's and you driving it lie you stole it. Now throw some slicks, 31 spline axles, U/L control arms, tubular K-Member, A-Arms, 3.5" skinnies, sway bar gone, good tune with a rock steady 13.1-13.3 AFR, and 31+ degrees of timing, weight reduction, then I could def see a high 12 in the cards.
Lol. This really is a dumb thread. Has mike got into the 8's yet? Assuming his motor is not 93 block and his internals are forged trws's, throw a 200 shot at it and be done. That's taking as many short cuts as you can but with existing issues in traction suspension and tires mike could still get in the 7's or the high 11's. That's with out correcting his other issues. Mike doesn't want to do smart shit so just throw nitrous at it and have fun. Its the biggest corner he can cut
