How could that be cheap? If they used a similar amount of rtv on the bellhousing (really?), they are out a bunch of cash in sealer alone.

I'll post pics of the bellhousing this week when i have it on the rack.

They aren't a tranny shop...they are a performance shop that I had used numerous times in the past for tuning.

It's really disappointing for people to go to a shop year after year and find things like this. I can only imagine would it would feel like if that was my car that had missing bolts, poor machine work, funky wiring, and bad welds...

The shop was supposed to be doing a tranny and clutch swap along with a tune. Things went horribly wrong due to the "slam bam get er done fuck it it's not my car" attitude and they had to pull the transmission 2 more times to fix all the things that were fucked up.

Be glad this shop didn't pull the heads off and slap some RTV between them and the block.

I saw that shit on a GT I bought, a lot of it too.
