Bolts are missing or the wrong type, covers/misc parts missing, loose bolts, etc. Just generally very sloppy and shoddy work. It just doesn't pay to let someone else wrench on your car sometimes.
From my experience, tranny shops are the shadiest. I guess it's because most customers know little or nothing about transmissions and what it entails to pull/rework one. Few people crawl under their cars after picking them up, and if they did, wouldn't know what to look for. Usually, the NEXT guy to work on it is the one to find all the wrong things.

You know they've been closed for 5+ years now right? It's funny how many businesses spun off of there though that are actually reputable.

Well shoot me a PM on the shop. So I know to avoid that shop. Shows how much they care about their rep & their customers

They aren't a tranny shop...they are a performance shop that I had used numerous times in the past for tuning.

Is this the soft-lite version of DFWMustangs or some shit?

Anyother time this thread would be "XXXX shop fucked my shifter up"

Or, in Mr. Edd's case - "shp shift fuked no gers,,,, silycon all ver"

Not true. Mr. Edd would have a long list of shops to say fucked up his shop, not just one in particular.

How could that be cheap? If they used a similar amount of rtv on the bellhousing (really?), they are out a bunch of cash in sealer alone.

Bust off the name of the shop, its not shop bashing where the proof is in the pudding or silicone in this case...

lol, I did that on a 200ci I6 when I was 12 (working in a dirt floor garage, no less). Scraping off a bunch of sealer is a good learning tool.

You guys are all about the glass being half empty. That thing has TWO good bolts holding it in and an extra. I mean, wtf how many do you need anyway?

Ever think the previous owner is blaming the shop to spare him the embarassment?
