Jeremy, could you recommend a shop I can go to, locally, that would only install my shifter with three good bolts, one broken bolt and 2 tubes of orange RTV?

As a paying customer, this is what I want and this is what I'm looking for. Any recommondations would be most helpful and appreciated.

                  Thanks

Now that's ridiculous. Be glad this shop didn't pull the heads off and slap some RTV between them and the block.

I hate it when you pay a shop to do work and you get crap labor in exchange for your hard earned cash. I am realizing how crappy of a job was done to my car after I had some transmission work done last year by a local, reputable shop. Bolts are missing or the wrong type, covers/misc parts missing, loose bolts, etc. Just generally very sloppy and shoddy work. It just doesn't pay to let someone else wrench on your car sometimes.

it really is tough to find someone that actually cares about taking their time and doing good work.
