  • Need Help with Codes

My buddy just purchased a real POS 95 mustang GT. It had a huge oil leak so last night I pulled the upper intake to replace the vc gaskets. The rear corner of the upper intake just falls off! Broke right in half! There was no vacume line hooked to the FP regulator, the PCV was unplugged, spark plug gap was over .75! I'm not even sure how it was running. This is the best part, he drove it from Austin to here with the incorrect firing order! I cant believe how tought this turd of a car is. Anyway, I got new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, plenum and VC gaskets. Replaced all the vacume lines and hooked up vacume to the fp regulator. Car fires right up and sounds great, but has a low rpm 1000-1700 rpm miss. The entire engine shakes in it's mouts and it has 2 codes. I cleared the KAMs and the codes came right back.

    232 Primary Coil circut failue

211 Pick up coil circut failure

Are these 2 related? How can it run if eithr of the 2 have failed? The codes come back after one key cycle. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please. -

232 and 211 are related, both showes ignition primary circuit failure, according with alldata possibe cause is; open/ shorted harnes circuit, damaged ignition control module, or damaged PCM, I'll go with ICM first, be sure has the same color(gray or black) cant be mixed.

Car runs perfect other than the constant miss right off idle to 1700ish rpm, but it misses terrible.

I have the ECM out of my 95 Cobra I suppose I could use. I would just need to upload a tune for 19# injectors and the stock 70mm MAF meter.
