  • Powerstroke or Eco Boost, oorrr maybe a Dodge

So I got a line on a 2002 loaded CC powerstroke with a little over a 100k on it. Truck is super clean and needs nothing and I could buy it and pay it off in less then a year. Or should I wait and buy an Eco when the wife gets out of school in May. Tried and trued or new and more expensive? I wish I knew more about the older Dodge trucks but I dont. I am just looking for a good reliable tow rig and dont want any problems. My 95 crew Ford was super reliable and a one owner truck so I do know I like them and trust them. I am going 2wd this time for less maint issues and I will keep the Bronco for when I need a 4wd or trade it for a nice built Jeep. Opinions?

Oh and so we are clear the 7.3 Turbo.

02' Powerstroke vote here. I have a 00' lowered F250 Powersrtoke with 230k on the clock and still going strong, tow with it daily. Stock tranny was rebuilt around 226k.

Well I ended up with a 2002 F250 Crew 7.3 turbo with 139k miles. I bought it from the second owner. I am soooo happy to be back in a diesel again. Love my Bronco but missed having a truck. Got a hell of a deal also, it was a buddy deal from another site.
